职位描述：

Scope of the Job:

• Support PPM and Production in terms of process analysis evaluations, implementation of improvements
• Support of new processes
• Support development of friction material for the China local market

Main Accountabilities:

- Develop Friction Materials in the categories Semi Met, Low Met and NAO according to legal and customer

requirements including capability requirements mainly for Chinese OE / IAM market.
- Keep close relation with Engineering Center in Leverkusen to permanently improve compounding efforts and shorten development cycles.

- Responsible new product introduction, raw material transfer and process improvement ,document new process and release to production /quality and related department .

- Manufacture samples for benchmark / prototype /testing under the direction from R&D Europe and local strategies, and new product development projects.

-Support startup of new R&D center

- Transfer European formulas and respective raw materials in China .
- Keep close cooperation with Raw materials Engineer, Application Engineering and Test Department.

-Technology support to solving manufacture issues and reduction production scrap rate for plant.

Minimum Requirements:

- Master / Bachelor degree in Material science , chemistry or polymer or related field.
- Experience in friction material compounding preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing processes for friction materials preferred
