职位描述：
Responsible for the design, development and testing activities of sports equipment product line, related products, and accessory items. Performs technical support and analysis on new and existing products to improve manufacturability, performance, component/unit design, assembly, and cost structure at the suppliers. Assist Sales & Marketing divisions on product development project execution for maximum efficiency and the key roles of the position are as below:

- Provides engineering support for assigned product development projects and monitors the project execution progress.
- Provides prototype drawings, assists instructional manual or specification creation, and prepares BOM activities for assigned PD projects.
- Participates in internal (Headquarter and regional office) and external (Suppliers) reviews of new product development projects/opportunities.
- Designs and details new/existing products and/or components from part prints, sketches, concepts, and development direction. Performs analysis on products/components to improve reliability, quality, performance, and cost with the objective of increasing product value and customer satisfaction.
- Represents the Product Engineering Department as assigned staff to supplier’s activities requiring product related technical input. Activities include specification creation & approval, sample approval, and cost verification.
- Provides standardized technical direction in assigned factory activities based upon specific department / international division’s objectives, engineering principles, and practices.
- Works with internal/external sources to secure product and component qualifications.
- Be proactive in expanding and enforcing the company’s intellectual property as it relates to all product innovations.
- Keep abreast of the latest technology in design, manufacturing processes, materials, project management, and communication techniques.
- Performs detailed testing and analysis of competitor’s products.

Role Requirements:

- Working Location : China Kunshan, close to factories
- 3-5 years of experience in design/development of consumer products with 1-2 years of 3D/solid modeling experience a plus.
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Material Research (preferred)
- Diverse knowledge on materials (such as rubber compound, composite materials, plastics, & steel), manufacturing process (such as injection-blow molding, steel fabrication, assembly, and packaging.
- On occasions would be required to utilize medium to heavy equipment. This would require the need to pass a qualification certification in order to operate equipment.
- Communication, organizational skills and a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
- Detail oriented and positive attitude.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and email, etc.
