A Senior Engineer for EYELEVEL is first and foremost the person in charge of creating technical documentation (production drawings) for our client’s designs. To do this they must be from a technical education, excellent communicators, organized and team players working closely with our account managers, production mangers, roll-out managers and designers. An Engineer is an essential part to the development of any article; they ensure that our client’s designs are technically engineered so they can be produced efficiently, economically and to a level of expected quality.

Responsibilities:
? Demonstrate leadership by creating a positive environment through clear and open communication, goal setting, coaching, and training.
? Monitor and evaluate team performance and assist with organizational development.
? Set the technical strategy required to complete complex projects and effectively manage task deliverables within the engineering team.
? Develop tools and techniques to implement best practices for performing engineering related tasks, identify and address inefficiencies.
? Clearly communicate recommended solutions and timelines to the production and account teams.
? Create and maintaining detailed departmental traffic and deliverables schedules.
? Design technical solutions: sketch/brainstorm with project team, vendors, and suppliers for technical solutions of approved designs.
? Technical documentation: create production drawings based on agreed solutions using SolidWorks.
? Set, monitor and improve engineering processes within EYELEVEL engineering teams and with other teams or partners.
? Identify, research and recommend innovations in materials and technologies used in the industry.
? Control and maintain the standard of engineering input and output.
? Establish and maintain technical document organization and accessibility.

Requirements:
1. Engineering/Design background
2. Educated in technical documentation (production drawings)
3. Self-motivated, confident team-player capable of high performance and excellent quality
4. Organized, efficient, structured in their work ethics
5. Passionate for finding the best possible technical solution
6. Excellent communication skills for both personal and written interaction
7. Able to learn fast specifics about our industry including materials, production processes, retail environments, etc

Software:
1. Excellent level of experience with AutoDesk, Inventor or Solid Works required
2. Advanced level of MS Word, Excel

Languages:
1. Chinese – fluent level
2. English – communicative level required for daily written and verbal communication, technical English required
