Objective of Job
The Test & Validation Manager is a leadership role with technical competence in the Electrified Propulsion APAC Organization, working with the leaders from same department and cross department in APAC and communicates with NAFTA and EMEA to develop and validate Hybrid Powertrain Systems for FCA vehicles in APAC region.

Brief Task Description
1. Work within engineers to conduct test, validation and planning for PHEV at component, system, and vehicle level
2. Ensure the PHEV meet the Attribute Functional Objective Document (AFOD) goals
3. Conduct diagnostics validation, EOL Testing, battery and power device testing for PHEVs APAC applications
4. Work with base engine calibration team to conduct VP and PS stage validation to meet on time, cost, and quality targets
5. Work with engine and vehicle teams to organize and conduct vehicle test trips as Hot, Cold, and Altitude trips
6. Work with cross regional teams on overall PHEV program reviews, adopt changes as needed
7. Provide service manual Support and interact with factory, dealer, and national labs
8. Provide training and coaching to team members, develop competency as needed
9. Interact with vehicle, purchasing, and government regulatory authorities to ensure compliance

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Control/Automotive Engineering

Experience:

Minimum 6 years of total industrial experience, 5 years in automotive, and 3 years in NEV testing and validation -

Skills & Competence:
* Minimum 3 years of supervision experience in automotive industry
* Test and validation of powertrain and vehicles at component, system, and vehicle levels
* Experience of test trips and working with calibration and homologation certification engineers
* Experience with calibration tools (INCA, Matlab Simulink, Canalyzer, or Canoe)
* Experience of electrified vehicles and powertrain
* Project management skills
* English proficiency and strong communication skills
