Mission of function
- Ensure regional E D MV 1 unit meets fiscal and business objectives set top down by the Management. The proposal manager is responsible for supporting the sales - acquisition process by timely delivery of cost efficient proposals to customers(external or internal). They support the overall business by supplying informaiton into the planning process for use in creation of business plans and strategies.

- External:Client, Design Institue, Supplier, Sales
Task
- CRM: Advise/optimize the technical solution in pre-offer phase if necessary, and attend the technical discussion if necessary, and make the product presentation in case of customer visiting.
- CRM: Prepare complete and timely proposals based on customer specifications received from the sales. The offers are to be aligned with customer request, include clear definitions of scope of works offered, delivery point and terms, & specification clarifications and deviations. etc
- CRM Sell: Submit the complete techno-commercial offer including all necessary documents as required by sales process and all technical annexes required by customer. Assist the sales in getting the order. If required attend discussions with sales/customer. In case of changes during the tender phase, update the offer and resubmit to RC. Maintain the complete offer related database.
- SCM Plan: In the event of awarded projects, check the scope of supply to ensure allignment to the offered scope. Update the offer as per the procedure. And then sign the technical agreement, transfer all related contractual information including latest versions of scope of supply and specifications with confirmed deviation to order manager. Upon request participate in handover meeting.
- SCM: Support on request the capacity planning process in SPC by providing OI data by panel type, and then regular monthly feedback of orders in pipe line. Support the claim management procedure initiated by business administrator for the project where requested.
- Win/loss feedback collection from sales.
- Support Human resources: Human resource planning and then accordingly recruitment and or divestment suggestions / applications shall be initiated for SPC / Regional management approval in line with the regional company guidelines. Recommend competent staff for further development programs to SPC / Regional mgt.
- MP Strategic & Financial planning: Support on request strategic and financial planning process by providing macro level market data.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of SSLS MV 1 products & the technologies involve
- Knowledge of end user applications
- Knowledge of competitors products and applications
- Knowledge of protection and control requirements of MV applications
- Knowledge of software tools used in preparing & tracking proposals
- Product presentation skills
- Relative commercial, trading knowledge
- General English anguage capability in daily biz
Experience
- Similar job circumstance and experience
- Proper and appropriate Project manager competence
- Be good at negotiation skills
- Have coordination, effective communication skills
- Ability to work in multicultural / multinational teams.
Education and Language
- Fluent in regional local / dominant language & English
