Responsibilities
Leadership responsibilities:
Report to the Project Deputy Construction Manager - MEPF when full time working on the Wuxi Project, the Project Engineer Manager will be responsible for the following:
? Lead and monitor Electrical Engineering detailed design quality and schedule by working with central Technical Engineers from IICGC, Local Design Institute (LDI) and Project Construction Management (PCM) Company.
? Manage and coordinate of Electrical Engineering in MEP and Power supplier contractors and suppliers on site, in terms of site logistic management, installation sequence, quality management, and safety and security management.
? Manage and coordinate of Electrical Engineering testing, commissioning and handle over process.
? Implementation of IICGC standard project safety management policies, supervising the contractors' implementation of IICGC and Project Management Company's EHS policies.
? Supervise and work with Jianli Company on project in Electrical works, inspecting and controlling of construction quality. Obtain of all quality inspection certificates from authorities.
? Ensure the quality of Electrical installation match to Technical Design Manual, design and drawings.
Specialist responsibilities:
? Internal resources and specialists
? Responsible for providing Electrical Engineering and Installation specialist support to project team within the Wuxi Project.
? On site construction management in Electrical works.
? Authority contacts and legal issues
? Responsible for managing the necessary code and authority related project construction and installation quality checking, inspections at various stages of the project till completion of the project.
Qualifications
Knowledge& Background:
? University degree in engineering related area major in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
? Minimum 8 years experience in design or construction management preferably within International PCM or commercial Developer.
? Broad knowledge of Electrical engineering design, installation, test and commission, time management.
? Good English in oral and written.
Skills & Abilities:
? Upright personality, integrity and uphold highest standard of professional ethics.
? Interacts with others in a sensitive and effective way. Respects and works well with others.
? Successfully adapts to changing demands and conditions.
? Goal and standard setting and follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards are met.
