Responsibilities

Leadership responsibilities:

Direct report to the Project Construction Manager when full time working on the Wuxi Project, the Project Deputy Construction Manager-MEPF will be responsible for the following:

? Lead the internal Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire (MEPF) Engineering managers throughout the project engineering, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning;
? Manage and monitor MEPF design coordination, engineering detailed design quality and schedule by working with central Technical Engineers from IICGC, Local Design Institute (LDI) and Project Construction Management (PCM) Company;
? Lead the coordination of project fire risk and sustainability coordination with Central and Insurance company;
? Manage and coordinate project consultants MEPF engineering design quality and program;
? Coordinate and monitor PCM construction site management on MEPF contractors and suppliers;
? Manage MEPF contractors and suppliers detailed engineering design and off site equipments supply quality and program;
? Manage MEPF systems testing and commissioning, and handle over process;
? Implementation of IICGC standard project safety management policies, supervising the contractors' implementation of IICGC and Project Management Company's EHS policies;
? Supervise and work with Jianli Company on project in MEPF works, inspecting and controlling of construction quality. Obtain of all quality inspection certificates from authorities;
? Ensure the quality of MEPF engineering design and installation match to Technical Design Manual.

Specialist responsibilities:

? Internal resources and specialists
? Responsible for providing MEPF construction specialist support to project team within the Wuxi Project.
? On site construction management in MEPF.
? Authority contacts and legal issues
? Responsible for managing the necessary code and authority related project construction and installation quality checking, inspections at various stages of the project till completion of the project.

Qualifications

Knowledge& Background:

? University degree in engineering related area major in HVAC engineering or other building service engineering is preferred.
? Minimum 10 years experience in construction management preferably within International PCM or commercial developer.
? Broad knowledge of building services engineering, installation, test and commission, time management.
? Good English in oral and written.
