Project Manager ( Welding/Mechanical)
Goals/Mission:
1.Support Strategic Product Manager for potential project quotation preparation and setup project core team accordingly.
Tasks:
1.Direct and manage project development from the initiation phase to the close phase.
2.Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
3.Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
4.Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
5.Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
6.Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
7.Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
8.Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
9.Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
10.Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
11.Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
12.Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
13.Track project milestones and deliverables.
14.Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations.
15.Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
16.Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
17.Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
18.Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
19.Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
20.Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
21.Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Education:
1.Bachelor degree, major in Mechanical or Electrical
Experience:
1.At least 5 years experience in product development, familar with the R&D process, experience with engineering documentation and change management, Welding process/ electrical /mechanical system background is perfered
Knowledge/Languages:
1.Strong knowledge and skills in developing a good project baseline plan which balances time, cost, resources to meet time and budget restrictions.
2.Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
3.Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
4.Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
5.Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
6.Flexible during times of change.
7.Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
8.Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
9.Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise.
10.Strong written and oral communication skills, especially in English.
11.Strong interpersonal skills.
12.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
Note:
Location is at Nanhui, zhou pu. More than 20 routes of shuttle buses can be provided.
