职位描述：
KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage a talented and dedicated team of engineers and technicians
2. Provide technical leadership in all aspects of Tunable TOSA product development (e.g. Optical, RF, mechanical design & test methodologies)
3. Work with program management to define development plans, resources, schedules, milestones and budgets and to make critical design choices and contingency plans
4. Coach, mentor and motivate team members
5. Solve complex problems
6. Coordinate with other sites and function teams

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS (include Education, Skills & Experience):
1. Masters or PhD in electrical engineering, solid state physics, optical communications or a related field
2. 5 years’ experience in a product development environment with at least 2 years’ experience in engineering management
3. A technical background in optical transceiver or optical transponder design is desirable
4. Experienced in taking development programs from concept to manufacturing
5. Demonstrated track record of delivering innovative solutions to challenging problems
6. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team
7. Experience working in a global marketplace and interacting with all levels of management
8. Strong leadership and inter-personal skills to manage and lead individuals
9. Excellent written and oral communication skills
