Mission of Function:
- To assure steam turbines manufacturing process meet technical specification requirements, expediting quality and schedule. Ensure manufacturing quality documentation.

Dimensions of Function:
- Steam turbine manufacturing/ quality assurance and engineering process.

Contacts (internal / external):
- Internal: project-/supply- and quality management, global manufacturing and engineering network
- External: Joint venture partner, suppliers, architect engineers, external customers

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:
- Manufacturing workshop process engineering: Planning of the manufacturing and assembly process and related quality control.
- Regular expediting in the workshop to detect potential quality or schedule issues and activly take contermeasures. Risk assessment to prevent quality issues or production delay. Regular reporting.
- Identify deviations in the manufacturing process. Assess repair solutions.
- Participate in or lead quality gate reviews.
- Ensure manufacturing quality documentation.
- Inspector in witness points.
- Create, evaluate, review and apply specifications, process procedures and other technical documents
- Collaborate with colleagues from global Siemens and from our Joint Venture partner Shanghai Electric Power Generation to carry out work in the area of turbine manufacturing process. Give training about turbine manufacturing process and quality assurance.

- Intercultural Variety of Cultures: Typically participation in international projects. Experienced to work with colleagues, customers and suppliers with different cultural background.
