Mission of Function:
- Customization of steam turbine design to ensure sourcing and manufacturing. Cooperate with manufacturing; NCR handling.

Dimensions of Function:
- Steam turbine engineering and manufacturing process

Contacts (internal / external):
- Internal: project-/supply- and quality management, global engineering and manufacturing network
- External: Joint venture partner, suppliers, architect engineers, external customers

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:
- Customization of steam turbine design and manucafturing process to ensure sourcing and manufacturing, adopt a design to the needs of a specific manufacturing workshop.
- Collaborate with colleagues from global Siemens and from our Joint Venture partner Shanghai Electric Power Generation to carry out work in the area of turbine design and manufacturing process (technical clarification of drawings, BOM and process specifications). Give training about turbine design and manufacturing process.
- Assess deviations in the manufacturing process. Suggest repair solutions. Knowledge of NCR process and Tools.
- Create, evaluate, review and apply specifications, process procedures and other technical documents.
- Analyse non conformance cost and project delay due to non conformance in regard to design and process, recommend and implement measures to prevent further occurrence.
- Benchmark low-cost materials and adapt designs to these materials. Suggest and implement DTC (Design to cost) improvements
