About the Role

Description
Qualifications: The ARM MMS Tools team is seeking a software developer to join our effort to advance the state of multi-media system performance analysis and tuning, which involves GPU, video and display. The successful candidate will apply knowledge of graphics programming models, GPU compute, and GPU/video/display architecture to create tools that provide actionable feedback to Mali system developers. The developer should be comfortable developing and debugging application/benchmark and driver code, and writing multi-media tests to investigate and verify system level performance metrics.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with tools, architecture and driver teams to design, implement, and verify new performance metrics and collection methods for mali GPUs.
- Develop new tools for mali GPU running Android, Linux, and other embedded operating systems.
- Develop demo and showcase for system level scenario.

REQUIREMENTS

- BSEE/CS or equivalent degree.

- Trackable experience in developing GPU/video related application.
- Strong programming ability in C, C++, and scripting languages.
- Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux development environments.

- Knowledge of embedded environments such as embedded Linux, Android is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of OpenGL, OpenGL ES, DirectX, and/or OpenCL is highly desirable.

- Good communication skill

- Fluent oral and written English

- Knowledge of GPU modeling is a plus.
