Mission
- A Sheet and Plate Metal Fitter represents a competent partner in service of specific gas turbines models. He is responsible for the execution of technical matters in all areas directly related to gas turbine sheet and metal plate works.
Contacts (internal / external)
- District Office, Site lead, engineering design departments, product lines, other field service staff
Responsibilities
- Performs complex and technically demanding work within area of technical expertise
- Effectively identifies technical or schedule problems as they occur and takes appropriate actions to resolve including escalation of more complex issues to a higher level
- Provides expert advice and technical assistance to support staff and subordinate technicians
- Performs day to day activities as part of a team or as a stand alone function
- Provides all required documentation and reports in a timely manner and according to procedure
Knowledge/Experience
- Alignment and fixation of assembly components within the framework of welding of large metal sheet components
- Measurement and adjustment of the clearances of large metal sheet components
- Experience in collaboration with multi-cultural teams, working in different customer cultures
- Relevant technical product & service knowledge s
- English language or/and further languages
