Job Purpose
Manage regional suppliers for logistic excellence and trade compliance. Serves as primary point of contact for all international transportation inquiries/issues. Works with service providers and suppliers to plan, schedule, and routes international orders. Reviews processes to effectively deliver product with focus on quality, on-time arrival, and cost. Executes planning of orders, using daily reports; analyzes shipment data and drives continuous improvement, utilizing business intelligence tools. Works to support global supply chain security programs which Haworth participates in on a global scale. Support and execute global logistics and global trade compliance initiatives with Asia Pacific supplier, plant and third party logistics engagement and accountability.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Be member of global logistics team, develops regional logistic strategies and align with global one. Participates in inter-company meetings to represent and explain International logistics/transportation requirements.
2. Develop and execute logistics processes to ensure delivery excellence and execution of Asia-Pacific exports from region. Reviews daily shipment plans to assess load feasibility, cube, weight, and schedule; approves plan and scheduling loads to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Take ownership of for regional Continuous Improvement. Collects and analyzes shipment data to make data-driven recommendations for service, performance, and cost. Such as but not limit to Trade compliance, SOTD, VMI, booking/utilization, MOQ/lead-time optimization etc.
4. Support global logistics team on provider selection and rate negotiations to ensure cost effectiveness of delivery solutions. Assimilates all pertinent costs (brokerage, air/ocean freight, duties, taxes, insurance costs, and documentation fees) in support of pricing arrangements to assure eligible transportation costs are invoiced back to customers in timely manner.
5. Communicate status of key logistics performance and status with internal and external customers to ensure seamless supply chain execution and timely escalation of disruptions. Evaluates special shipping requests from Customer Service and dealers. Determines and schedules appropriate transportation services to meet requirements and minimize cost.
6. Assists with and supports Global Trade Compliance programs to assure Haworth’s compliance with all US and foreign customs regulations (e.g. C-TPAT, AEO). Responsible for regional engagement with suppliers, plants and third party logistics companies to ensure compliance to global trade policies and procedures.
7. Develop and facilitate annual country risk and business partner assessments as required to ensure compliance with C-TPAT. Communicates risk results and mitigation plans to upper management as required.
8. Take timely and appropriate actions to communicate, escalate and address any supply chain disruption to mitigate impact to Haworth operations or customers.
9. Provide weekly outstanding order report-out and monthly KPIs report, include but not limited to 3PL’s performance, SOTD, container utilization, VMI program, etc.
10. Ensure accuracy of all required logistics and compliance documentation
11. Extend support to commodity team on total cost ownership, provide logistic cost intelligence, monthly commodity index, spend and PPV report.

Job Requirements and Qualifications
  Bachelor degree – supply chain management, international business, logistics or equivalent
  Three to five-year experience in international business and logistics
  Skills and knowledge
(a) Strong background in international logistics and import/export operations – experience with trade compliance programs a plus
(b) Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with ability to effectively establish global relationship
(c) Strong written and verbal communication skills
(d) Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
(e) Strong problem solving skills
