Your tasks

Being a member of the supply chain team China, you will coordinate between suppliers and the operations in Shanghai.
Your tasks include:

? Follow up on MRP needs and maintain accurate data on parts and component availability/pricing.
? Prepare purchase orders for technical parts and components
? Follow up and assure a timely and compliant delivery for ordered parts and components to our plant in Shanghai
? Coordinate technical issues between external vendors and internal PEC teams (production, engineering,.. )
? Assist in finding New Vendors
? Assist in reducing our manufacturing and supply chain cost
? Planning, execution and follow up of all transports (from packaging to delivery)
? Handling of administrative documents and tasks related to customs, including import/export declaration, customs inspection, etc.

Your skills and qualities

We are looking for a strongly motivated professional meeting the following requirements:
? Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/logistics or a related discipline
? A first successful experience in import/ export and/or logistics is a must
? Strong communication skills in Chinese and English
? Experience in SAP is a plus
? Good organizational abilities: structural and analytical thinking, establishing priorities with respect for the deadlines, accuracy
? Enterprising and pro-active spirit
