Mission of Function:
- Perform services at customer job sites as assigned. Services include start up commissioning, preventive maintenance, repair services, harmonic testing, operational and maintenance training for customers, and similar field tasks.

Contacts (internal / external) :
- SEDS internal; SLC; End-user

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:
- Perform a wide variety of start-up, maintenance, and repair services with no (minimum) assistance and guidance from in house support staff.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and service related systems beyond the equipment Siemens supplies.
- Provide customer training (on- and off-site).
- Assist in training of newly hired field service engineer.
- Communicate with customers to ensure customer satisfaction; especially in problematic / dissatisfied customer situations.
- Complete required field documentation and reports and electronically transmit appropriate completed reports (i.e. job related field service report, expense report, etc.) in a timely fashion as dictated by company policy and departmental procedures.
- Travel as required - both domestic and international.

- Profess. Knowl.:Electronics and Electrical Engineering knowledge
- Profess. Knowl.:Bachelor or higher degree of engineering in power electronics, motor or industry automation.

Essential (today and in future) :
