Role Purpose
The digital analytics team is responsible for leading all the digital analytical engagements within Merkle. Our role is to design innovative digital analytics solutions to solve complex business problems. Through analytically derived insights, we often provide our clients with visibility into their business while systematically leading them towards improved business performance.
As part of the team, you will be engaged in a variety of digital analytic projects with online user behavior segmentation . To be successful in this role, you will need strong problem solving skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial work environment, be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change. Ability to handle multiple projects and collaborating with your co-workers is essential.
Key Responsibilities
? Analyze and manage digital data using R, SAS, SQL or other languages as required
? Implement digital analytical solutions using the following techniques: Predictive statistical modeling, Digital user behavior segmentation at cookie/customer level, Data Analysis and Mining, External Data Enhancement, and Econometric and financial analysis
? Develop and test experimental designs, sampling techniques, and analytical methods
? Evaluate and improve internal tools and processes
? Perform ad hoc analysis of business situations, systems, issues and problems
? Analyze online user behaviors and digital marketing performance across channels and exploring new business opportunities
? Mentor junior colleagues
Key Skills and Experience
? MS/PhD degree from a top university in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Engineering and etc.)
? 3 or more years hands-on industry experience in marketing analytics or digital analytics or CRM analytics
? Experience in SAS, SQL and R Programming is required
? Experience in Statistical Modeling is required
? Strong problem-solving skills
? Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities
? Excellent written English ability
? Proficient in Oral English
? Experience with digital analytics platforms such as Adobe/Omniture, Google Analytics, IBM/CoreMetrics, WebTrends, DoubleClick, AdWords, Ad server, DSP, DMP, etc is a plus but not required
? Excellent work ethic and great team player
