Job Description: Senior Training Specialist/Training Supervisor

Description of the Position:
Labbrand is looking for a senior training specialist/training supervisor based in Shanghai office. This position is responsible for building the training content, managing the training process and competency management, individual goals, promotion and career path management. It requires a well-seasoned professional who can diagnose organization needs, recommend the appropriate mix and emphasis to improve organizational effectiveness, and implement the agreed plan.


Main Responsibility:
1. Build the Training content
- Explore and expand training channels and resources, assess the external training institutions and teachers, accumulate of quality supplier resources;
- Identify company internal trainer team (supporting the external trainers) and define the subsequent process, policy, incentive, etc. that guarantees internal trainer system operates well;
- Drive the program of “2-year Labbrand University courses” for junior and senior consultants including both general skills and department specific skills;
- And Make it an exciting experience for Labbrandians with well though and prepared communications

2. Manage the Training process
- Be responsible for the management of training assessment and training evaluation, and write the training evaluation report;
- Develop a sound policy and process of training. Manage, setup, prepare materials/ equipment required for training
- Evolve the training system every year according to company’s strategy;

3. Competency management
- Monitor employees’ competencies and development plan, identify the key behaviors for each Labbrand position so that we can develop 1) focus for career path (promotions) 2) focus for Individual development plan (1:1 coaching)
- Maintain the competency management system: new employee set up, launch of reviews
- Update and communicate good practice about reviews
- Analyze competencies across the company
- Update competencies definition and related behaviors (every 2years)

4. Individual goals, promotion and career path management
- Set and manage goals (work with GM/CEO) to connect Company roadmaps to individual goals
- Follow criteria for promotion, update career paths for Labbrand employees.

Requested competencies:
- Bachelor degree or above in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or education related majors;
- Strong project management skills, coordination, overall planning, reports ability;
- Strong upward /downward/ horizontal communication skills: Good English writing skills and daily English communication skills; Inter departmental and cross department communication skills;
- Familiar with business, self-motivate, inspire others, strategic thinking, analytical judgment, innovative thinking, initiative and positive, quick learning ability and strong executive ability and result oriented;
- Have good professional ethics and professional conduct, have good sense of teamwork and strong sense of responsibility, be able to work under great pressure.
