Mission:
To provide best product development, market intelligence and marketing activities for sales teams in Far East region, to achieve maximum customer value and ambitious growth.
Major responsibilities:
Implementation of divisional product development strategy.
- To visit and research end users’ behavior\demand\applications, competition and market trend for specified products
- To collect competitors’ information and product performance information as required.
- Base on the market investigation and analysis, you should complete product portfolio continuously through professional proposal.
- Make master specification for specified products and it should including product positioning, pricing and promotion plan. Ensuring we are fully compliant with local regulations in each served market for their respective product areas.
- To support management team on marketing activities for Atlas Copco brand.
- To keep good communication between internal and external customers.
- Organize road show\demo\field test of all equipment within the range, follow and monitor the whole process\ performance and results on time.
- Drive and support the sales force to extend customer base and coverage via both direct and indirect sales network development.
- Where relevant (in cooperation with service division) drive and follow up on commissioning.
- Be the driving force in technical, application and commissioning training internally and externally
- Fully responsible for driving market share growth for their respective product areas
Co-ordination with PCs (production companies)
- To keep contact with divisions and different PCs (both in China and Europe, even others).
- Following product development projects through regular meeting with PCs.
- Providing specific customer demand and professional technical requests to PCs to develop business opportunities of OEM segment.
- Review and follow the quality issues about existing products with service division and PCs regularly until the problems had been fixed.
- Be ensuring the profitable growth through good pricing and price management actions.
Job Requirement:
- University degree or above, majored in mechanical engineering or other related.
- More than 3 years’ experience in technology, marketing or sales job in compressor \ drilling \ mining \ oil & gas \ relative industries, etc.
- Excellent English in both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft skills and Lotus Notes.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit.
- Good leadership on marketing\product management will be plus.
- Willing to travel.
- The job will report to product manager and be based in Shanghai.
