Job Responsibilities

This is a newly created role as part of Finisar's growing global supply chain organization.
? Primary responsibility is supply chain program management for FNSR key NPI projects interfacing with R&D, project teams, operations by bridging all supply chain function teams effort in a global environment.
? Working with engineers from the US design team and other R&D facilities, along with commodity managers, supplier development, and procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure program success on a worldwide basis.
? This supply chain program manager is responsible for the optimum project BOM material cost in working with R&D, commodity manager and supplier development engineers with the most suitable technology application, sufficient design DOE and manufacturability assessment in NPI phase to ensure successful product development and quality assurance and time to market
? The successful candidate will be responsible for the risk management in terms of supply chain domain of various activities, cost, quality, availability by coordinating with design, project team and all supply chain function teams to ensure NPI each phase BR build satisfying project master schedule at best cost and quality.
? The program manager position also interfaces with marketing to coordinate and manage multiple sourcing qualification activities for cost reduction or supply chain risk mitigation for sustaining products and to meet customer expectations.
? Travel is required for projects coordination across multiple geographies.

Skills/Qualifications

? Experience in NPI project management and/or customer support of product development projects in a high technology global company with multi-regional teams required.
? Experience in supply chain management, procurement, commodity management or strategic sourcing is required.
? Experience in the optical industry is required.
? Be able to think and act globally across multiple cultures, time zones and functions.
? Strong ability to analyze impact of changes in quality, cost and continuity of supply during new product transitions and engineering changes orders.
? Strong time management skills and process oriented.
? Strong data analysis ability and ERP user experience
? Familiar with NPI development process
? Familiar with document management system and ECN process
? Highly self-motivated with strong multi-disciplinary background and be able to multi-task in an ambiguous environment.
? This person should enjoy a high-energy atmosphere in which tasks can be accomplished simply, and directly.
? Fluent in English: verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill.
? Fluent in Mandarin.
? Good knowledge of graphics and spreadsheet software applications.
? 10~15 years of working experience, with SPMP qualification and across sites program management experience. MBA is a plus. 举报 分享
