* Job Title:
Senior Sales Manager / Sales Head, Rubber Carbon Black, Greater China

* Reports to:
Vice President, Rubber Carbon Black, Asia-Pacific Region (functionally)
General Manager, Greater China (administratively)

* Job Objectives:
To be responsible for the whole sales activities of Rubber Carbon Blacks in Greater China.

* Main Responsibilities
1. Implement Rubber Carbon Black Business Line strategy.
2. Form, maintain and continuously improve Greater China RB Sales Team, and provide necessary leadership support to the team.
3. Co-work Rubber Carbon Black Business Line and provide meaningful input on the customer needs, market trend and market intelligence, and actively involved in business strategy evolution.
4. Work with customers and distributors to define the needs to which we should respond. Differentiate needs from wishes and effectively communicate to the appropriate members of the organization.
5. Determine the sales channel to create the best interest to the company. Make a proper trade-off between the cost spent in servicing a customer and the potential business. Maximize the short term and long term profitability for Orion with various customers.
6. Implement the Distributor Management System for distributors. Support and coordinate the activities of authorised distributors. Manage the distributors to avoid unnecessary competition, maximize profit, improve customer satisfaction and assure the supply chain to meet customer needs.
7. Implement the defined pricing policies. Provide inputs on pricing structure according to market intelligence on price trends, consumption analysis, and customer profiles to ensure profitable margins. Generate and maintain customer profiles for key customers, including timely sales forecasts.
8. Communicate effectively to keep marketing & sales management well informed about the market. Report fully, regularly and in the proper format according to the company’s procedures and standards.
9. Monitor competitors’ activity and technical developments. Keep well informed about industry technical developments, new applications and new products.
10. Carry out any other instructions from senior management relating to Rubber Carbon Black business.

* Requirements for the position/ Qualifications
1. At least 10 years sales and/or marketing experience in renowned chemical companies, and minimum 3 years team leader role.
2. Minimum of a B.S. degree in chemistry, polymer, chemical engineering or business;
3. Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English.
4. Must be skilled in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc., have experience in writing and making presentations. SAP and salesforce.com experience is a plus
5. Must be willing to travel 50% - 60% per month
