Responsibilities:
· Act as a role model demonstrating exceptional customer orientation
· Follow and support Kautex Manufacturing Standards
· Ensure transfer of technical knowledge and prevent reoccurrence of failures
· Ensure regular Meetings and Exchange within the Specialist team globally Support Manuf. System Design (MSD) production design and PCE /CD sheets for new projects
· Support the ECR and ECO process
· Support purchases department during the supplier nomination process for process equipment, take part at concept meetings, check concept to our specifications
·Supervise development for your area of responsibility and releases within the region you are located. (EU/ SA or NA or ASIA)
·Be the owner of equipment and SOW specification according Kautex standards; define, release, update, distribute and transfer the knowledge to the toolmaker. Review sampling reports and optimize tools & equipment.
·Implement lessons learnt and prevent reoccurrence
·Support the P-FMEA for your area of responsibility
·Continuous improvement of capital, tooling, labour productivity and OEE
·Technical support to the project team according PMR, permanent member of the gate and design review meetings, change management
·Support Core Manufacturing in defining overall production and equipment standards, spread process know-how in other plants, make sure that we are all doing the operation in the same way
·Support of the plants in case of production troubles like blow molding, welding, assembly and testing problems, fire fighting
·Support tasks of other owners such as welding, finishing, assembly and blow moulding
·Knowledge about and compliance to the customer specific requirements
Experience:
· Technical college, engineering, technical background
· Experience in tooling/finishing/assembly
· Experience in automotive industry and/or in a plastics manufacturing plant / shop floor
· Support of projects in plants abroad
· Knowledge of Kautex standards
· Six Sigma and Product Design Knowledge
· Primary Language of location and English language skills are required
