Job Summary:
You will be a key lead for training in APAC and through this role will help drive Ten’s service standards by creating an exemplary and ever-improving training environment. You will be a champion for best practice and constant improvement. In your work you will partner closely with other business areas including the wider global training team, Member Satisfaction as well as the operational management teams. You will be a positive and inspiring support to them in creating relevant, effective and timely training solutions that align with our business and client strategies. Your role will encompass all parts of the employee’s journey from initial induction, through probation and into ongoing training and development as people grow their careers with the business. With inductions – these will be an exciting introduction for people to their roles and you will create full engagement in the business and set people up for success in their career at Ten. You will ensure a smooth transition from their initial on-boarding into their team environment by coaching and mentoring new starters as necessary. You will oversee, improve and create new training modules and material that answer the needs of staff that could include sector specialist training, corporate training and soft-skills development. You will seek to create personalised training experience for each APAC member that is specific and truly caters to their needs. These will become sessions that are booked and scheduled as part of their overall plans period to period so that training is always an important feature of their experience working at Ten.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and Coordinate the Development and Delivery of all Training across the APAC Business (45%)
? Create training and development strategies that are inspirational, welcoming and effective; all training will meet business needs and resources will be fit for purpose.
? Develop new ways to deliver innovative training programs across all our APAC offices and taking into account a wide range of specialisms and corporate programs through effective collaboration between the training, operations, Member Satisfaction and client services teams.
? Regular productive delivery of coaching on the floor with Lifestyle Managers across all APAC offices.
? Active collaboration with global training team to maintain consistent, effective and measurable/sustainable long term training.
? Regular evaluation of training to ensure it is relevant and aligned with service improvement strategies.
? Identify effective external training to increase training effectiveness; seek appropriate facilitators.
? Be a key driver in preparing employees for development/career opportunities and ensuring all employees journey at Ten remains motivational.


Deliver on-boarding training to new starters aligned with the global on-boarding program (35%)
? Deliver the on-boarding training program: ensuring dynamic first two weeks, sensible spread of information, timing of sessions and set ample time for practical learning.
? Create printed schedule for each on-boarding training ensuring specialist trainers are invited, rooms are booked, and materials are ready.
? Maintain training records and communicate training outcomes to stakeholders.
? Introduce new people to teams during their training and facilitate team bonding activities such as shadowing, lunches, and outside excursions.
? Complete a hand-over of new starters to Team Managers and provide full learning notes on each new starter, and share feedback with Training Team and other managers where appropriate.
? Collaborate with Training Team in gathering trends and design solutions, ensuring contribution to the ongoing development of the program to suit business requirements in the APAC market.

Deliver corporate program training to new starters and existing team members as required based on the corporate clients they will serve (20%)
? Work with Team Managers to determine appropriate specialist and/or program training required for existing team members and new starters prior to on-boarding.
? Deliver training on different corporate programs: ensuring sensible spread of information, timing of sessions, and set ample time for practical learning.
? Create printed schedules for corporate training session(s) ensuring specialists are invited, rooms are booked, and materials are ready.
? Maintain training records and communicate training outcomes to stakeholders.
? Introduce new employees to key stakeholders of corporate programs (e.g. Account Managers) and facilitate team bonding activities such as shadowing experts already working with those corporate programs.
? Collaborate with Training Team and Account Managers in gathering trends and design solutions, ensuring contribution to the ongoing development of corporate training programs to suit business requirements in the APAC market.
? Work with the Account Managers to understand ongoing training needs on each corporate program.
? Partner with Account Managers to update corporate program training materials as needed and ensure Lifestyle Managers are informed of the changes.
? Ensure all staff receives refresher training every three months on all main programs.

Job Requirements:

Education/Experience:
? A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, including experience of writing and creating e-learning, creating development strategies and delivering training remotely.
? Desirable is experience of training in English and Mandarin would be an advantage for this role.
? Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
