Position Summary
The position plays a key role in assisting the Information Technology Director on managing hotel systems installation processes, developing brand I.T. standards and by providing management with high quality and timely counsel as well as hotel pre-opening management. Assists in managing all corporate related IT matters (office support, helpdesk, IT infrastructure, net-working, application support & deployment, hardware sourcing and deployment security patches, data privacy and security), Assist IT Director to work on day-to-day tactical implementation of IT (corporate and field), especially contribute on the China Distribution Solution both for ongoing service of completed system, and implementation of new phases of the project.
Responsibilities
# Corporate Office Support
- Assists in managing all corporate related IT matters (office support, helpdesk, IT infrastructure, networking, application support & deployment, hardware sourcing and deployment security patches, data privacy and security)
- Assists on day-to-day tactical implementation of IT (corporate and field), especially contribute on the China Distribution Solution both for ongoing service of completed system and implementation of new phase of the project.
- Assists on maintaining CRS reservation platform (including Call Centre, Booking Engine, Website and TWI, etc.) to ensure it runs smoothly.
- Assist on regularly monitoring and checking the interface connectivity with each OTA channel and individual TWI hotels in CRS.
- Assist on maintaining the user accounts and permission to ensure all users and their permission are granted properly according to policy in CRS.
- Maintain and update IT relevant data on websites
- Assists IT Director on other issues as and when required.
# Hotel Support
- Assists IT Director in the day-to-day management of new hotel preopening and conversion processes.
- In charge of administration of Salesforce.com and ensures the IT works for all Managed and Direct Franchised preopening hotel and conversion projects are accurate and up to date.
- Manages and distributes key reports as required
- Prepares and distributes Red Flag reports prior to periodic project review meetings and follow up on each issue
- Update important corporate IT relevant instruction and national IT relevant information (including law and regulation) with managed and direct-franchised hotels when occur.
- Assist in task force deployments as and when required.
Skills & Qualification
- College degree, a degree in project management would be an advantage.
- At least 2-years working experience in related field, preferably with hospitality industry experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both in English & Chinese, spoken & written.
- Target oriented and process driven, flexible and committed to task achievement.
- Organized and methodical with strong sense of ownership and follow-up.
- Enthusiastic, confident, self-reliant and willing to go the extra mile.
- Microsoft Office literate. Outlook, Word and Excel are a minimum, PowerPoint and Project would be a plus.
- Knowledge of hotel systems (e.g. PMS, CRS, Accounting System, Procurement System, etc.) is required
- Knowledge of telephone/PABX and network switches (including maintenance and security) is required
- Knowledge of video conference installation and setup is required
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM tool would be a plus.
