Job Description:
We are on the lookout for relevant talent with previous specific fraud investigation experience in EPC contractors.
This position will report directly to the Director, Profit Prevention and Investigation. You are expected to be responsible for conducting and supporting investigations, including fraud, corruption, embezzlement, unauthorized subcontracting, intellectual property theft and infringement, intimidation, bribery, suspected violations of company policy and the law.
Key responsibilities
. Perform adequate due diligence on all allegations assigned and determine if an investigation should be performed.
. Perform investigations of alleged or suspected fraud, bribery & corruption, misconduct, violations of ethics, policy, law and other cases as assigned.
? Conduct field and open source information gathering in support of investigations.
? Gather evidence to support conducting effective, tactical and confrontational interviews, as required.
? Update case management and tracking system on status of all assignments.
? Undertake field investigations into supplier fraud and corruption, as needed.
? Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on the progress.
? Develop and execute plans for all investigations and document and communicate the results to line management.
Experience and Competency
? Bachelor's Degree Criminal Justice or the equivalent; higher-degree candidates are encouraged to apply. Law enforcement helpful, but not required.
? 6 years experience conducting extensive, complex, detailed and confidential investigations.
? Proven track records in the field of investigation, compliance, corporate governance.
? Result-oriented with an attention to details and able to prepare high quality reports.
? Demonstrate knowledge and application of investigation skills, including the ability to conduct informational and confrontational interviews.
? Demonstrate advanced technical competency in the use of relevant technology and tools necessary to perform the job.
? Willingness to travel.
? Proven ability to coordinate investigations with law enforcement agencies.
? Chinese as a first language and preferably multi-lingual with proficiency in English.
