? External: Chemical Companies, Dye Mills, Print Houses, Supplier Colour Technician, Washing Facilities

Accountability
The Colour Technician is accountable to:
? Accurately and timely grant Colour Approvals
? Conduct colour-related Risk Assessments
? Educate and Train Supplier Lab Colour Technicians

Main Responsibilities
Routines
? Send cuttings and reflectance values of the standard colours to suppliers when artworks/standard colours are received
? Evaluate lab dips, counter sample and bulk instrumentally and visually together with the merchandiser to decide whether to grant approval or not
? Register all tests according to the quality routine, and follow it up.
? Keep the colour machines in good condition and ensure annual calibration of colour instruments
? Keep all standard colour books updated
? Conduct “Colour Vision Test” (FM Munsel Hue Test) of Quality Controller and other team members

Support to Internal Teams
? Work closely with the quality team, R&D team and merchandiser team to analyze potential colour problems already in the development stage
? Support the merchandiser team to solve colour problems which might occur during order follow up
? Inform all offices if there are changes to H&M’s Colour Guide Book
? Cooperate closely within the team with quality assurance and the chemist
? Maintain close cooperation with the H&M Global Colour Responsibles and update them on local projects/possible new ways to solve/avoid previous problems
? Maintain close contact with other Production teams’ Colour Technicians in order to share experience and learn from each other
? Educate the internal team on how to comply with H&M’s Colour Guide Book in the best way
? Evaluate the suppliers and give material/feedback to the PM (Product Manager)/seniors/merchandisers and the suppliers
? Support the material team in securing colour routines with mills

Cooperation with and Support to External Teams
? Educate the external team on how to comply with H&M’s Colour Guide Book in the best way
? Make audits of dye mills, print houses, washing facilities, etc. along with chemists
? Maintain close contact with chemical companies and make new external contacts necessary to solve problems


任职资格：
Education and Experience requirements
? Graduate from a textiles or technical high school, preferably the chemistry dept. or chemistry engineering department of a university
? Preferably experience in a textiles lab dye house, print house, dye-stuff company or similar position in a supplier or representative office
Knowledge and Skills requirements
? Knowledge of Colour Theory
? Superior colour vision and should have a score of a minimum of 16 on the Farnsworth-Munsel 100 Hue Colour Test
? Knowledge of operating the colour spectrophotometer is an advantage
? Basic knowledge of colour dyeing and printing
? Excellent written and spoken English communication 举报 分享
