GENERAL SUMMARY
The Avamar team builds the software systems that coordinate and execute data backups across a variety of enterprise applications and platforms. The enablement of Avamar in virtualization environment and the integration with popular cloud platform are key business strategy for Avamar right now. And this position will take technical leadership to lead the Avamar roadmap and drive the feature delivery for customer scenarios in main stream of hypervisors and cloud platforms.

 PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Work with product manager for roadmap and lead architecture evolution.
? Hands-on to lead the POC project with new technology.
? Design, implement the key features across complex software components/products.
 
 SKILLS
? Experience as a technical leader for end to end software feature/product delivery.
? Strong experience on at least one of the following programming Language: JAVA, C++, Python.
? Good experience on the following is a must: html5, JavaScript programming, web design.
? Experience on at least one of the following cloud platform is a must: Azure, AWS, other IaaS cloud service.
? Demonstrable possession of the following assets is a must:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both English and Chinese
- Motivated, effective and responsible team player
- Ability to work in a global team environment
? Knowledge on any of the following areas is a big plus: datacenter management SW, OpenStack, VMWare.
? Knowledge on any of the following storage areas is a big plus: RAID, file system, cloud storage.-
