Mission of function

- Protect and enhance the brand image of Siemens by ensuring consistent quality in all stages of the production

Contacts (internal / external)

- Internal: SPC management; R&D, IE, ME, EE and supplier quality engineer, buyer, logistics reception person and product inspector

- External: suppliers, external QA auditors such as ISO, HSE etc.

Task

- Support Quality: Implementation of the procedures & methods detailed in the "QHSE Management Manual" and Product Inspection Regulation, to ensure goods delivery meet the applied specifications (e.g. standard, Technical agreement, engineering drawing, and etc.,), Documentation of the measurements made, creation of NCR's as required, and ensure their ultimate closure.

- Support Quality: Control of the NCC process ensuring all nonconformance found in inspection and test are documented, root causes established, remedial actions enacted, and measured across the entire process chain. Make identifier for unqualified products.

- SCM Make: Prove the make process, check and ensure quality at assembly and packing stage. In case of non conformity, take immediately either the corrective actions or rejection based on the guidelines given in respective quality procedures and or individual component or process definitions. During the entire process ensure that the health & safety regulations as well as environment protection regulations as per the SPC standards are strictly complied with.

- PLM Commercialize: Support in particular the manufacturing and deliveries of pilot projects. Use all the experience in assisting QA department in formulating the new product, process and component specific quality check procedures, as the product / concept might be still in nascent stage.

Knowledge

- Experience in working / contributing to quality circles either within the same SPC or across different SPCs within the same or different regions.

Experience

- Experience in QA related activities in industry?

- Quality control experience in manufacturing industry

Education and Language

- Fluent in regional local / dominant language and moderate in English.
