职位描述

Location: Shanghai

Goals/Mission:
Carrying out all procurement activities in the area of materials for which the post-holder is responsible, with a medium to high degree of difficulty and/or larger PV's, with objective of optimizing supply and generating a contribution to operating profit while taking into account optimazation of the total cost of ownership.

Working Partners/Contacts
Internal: Development, Logistics, Commodity Management, Supplier Quality, Production, Supply Management.
External: Existing and potential Suppliers/Market Analysts Consultants, competitors.


Tasks:
- Preparing and conducting contract and price negotiations for medium to large volumes to contribute to the profitability of the company.
- Implementing of procurement strategies to ensure the long-term, cost-effective supply of materials.
- Implementing alternative procurement sources to minimize stock replacement, inventory levels and costs.
- Maintain regular contacts with interface partners to recognize developments (in market, demand, etc.) and exert influence accordingly.
- Monitoring the national and international market to bring new suppliers, product derivatives, and product innovations into the purchasing portfolio.
- Producing price forecasts and internal figures to supply basic data for corporate planning (costing data) and reporting.
- Analysing and controlling of contractual agreements to prepare renegotiations/subsequent negotiations, initiate appropriate measures and guarantee supplies.
- Undertake supplier management(jointly with specialist department, quality and logistics) to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain.
- Interdisciplinary working group/project work to inform oneself, exert influence and optimize internal processes and procedures.
-Responsibility for delivery performance and Claim Management.

Education:
Bachelor or above

Knowledge/Languages:
- Professional expertise
- Technical/product knowledge

- Giving presentations/Chairing meetings


Experience:
- Several yeas of experience in procurement as well as cross-functional experience.
- Advanced level in Project/Process
- Experience of working in a multi-national team needed. Exp. of working in a multi-national company preferred.
