职位描述

Goals/Mission:
The Supplier Quality Inspector (SQI) shall supervise the suppliers for large machined castings and forgings including hubs, bearing houses, bed frames, bed plates and main shafts.

Working Partners/Contacts:
The SQI shall report to Supplier Quality Manager in Siemens Wind Power Asia Pacific, and functionally assist the quality functions in SWP. There will be a close cooperation with the procurement and engineering departments.

Tasks:
- The main functions are supervising the suppliers' products, final documentation, NCR case handling, shipment inspection. It also includes taking part in system audit, process audit and product audit to evaluate supplier's quality capability in terms of machining process.
- Prepare accurate reports according to the demands described by the quality management at Siemens Wind power.
- Quality and Technical follow-up at the supplier and "root cause analysis", on components in our wind turbines.
- Frequent travel to the suppliers.

Education:
Bachelor or above

Knowledge/Languages:
- Familiar with various dimensional measurement instruments including laser tracker
and/or CMM and be able to measure with the tools above mentioned; familiar with
GPS( Geometrical Product Specifications); familiar with the calibration of dimensional
measurement tools; familiar with machining processes; familiar with machining facilities.
- Good English skills, in writing and oral.
- Solid communication and team building skills.
- Experience as machining or measurement engineer is preferred

Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Machining or Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline. Former education as machining engineer is preferred. Experience with wind power industry is preferred.
-3+ years experiences in machining with heavy industry.
