Department QE and VRT manufacture
Director Supervisor/Title
Summary of the Role
• Responsible for site painting trouble shooting in running production.
• Participates in and performs test within problem solving scope.
• Participates in verification of process changes within problem solving scope and on requests.
• Organize control plan item evaluation and finish change process.
• Organize paint shop material supplier weekly meeting.
• Collects data for analysis of quality problems.
• Executes diverse measurements.
• Participate on required meetings
• Body color data and orange peel status monitor.
• Follows up required key points.
• Executes statistical calculations.
• Supports with required administration for handling of PTF and TPD.
• Upon request, supports production with problem analysis.
• Supports during introduction of containments/temporary actions.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel.
• Availability (if needed) during the different shifts (day/night and weekends).
Main responsibilities
• Responsible for delivery of all main tasks within responsibility area.
• Responsible for following of standard processes, methods, and tools at Manufacturing Engineering and Production.
• Responsible for reporting to Manager within Plant Quality.
Academic Qualifications Required
• Bachelor or above
Experience Required
• More than 3 years painting process experience in automotive automation manufacturing company.
• Professional knowledge of paint issues in paint shop.
• Familiar with paint robot operation (better for ABB).
Competencies
• Knowledge about the processes, methods, and tools at Manufacturing Engineering and Production.
• Fluent in English, written and writing.
• Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point.
• 6-sigma level 1 certified or equivalent 6-sigma training.
