HAPPYCHIC is a French fashion group, mainly focused on men’s garment. It owns 3 brands (JULES, BRICE and BIZZBEE) and more than 600 stores mainly in Europe. Shanghai Rep office exists since 2005 and is focalizing on the sourcing and quality control of all the garments exported from China for the 3 brands!

Global mission:
As the local contact of the buying center in head office, the sourcing manager helps/ advice buyer in the supplier management and also helps in sourcing new partners.

Job Description:

Sourcing of suppliers
? Support the development of new sourcing with process explanation
? To visit the production site regularly to ensure their following of our requirements.

Following up
? To follow up the development of products/supplier which he/she is in charge of and ensure the best price/quality/delivery for brands.
? To provide solution for brands if any problem occurred with a local supplier.

Meeting arrangement
? To arrange meeting and travel for group of buyers and accompany them during their business trip. To give support when needed.
 
Supplier management
? Collect and analysis the performance of its supplier to challenge them on regular basis
? Keep a clear supplier database knowing the pro & con for each of them
? Support the development of the key partners


Key points of the mission
? Develop and train our suppliers.
? Optimizing the business trip of buyers.
? Increase our presence in suppliers




Requirements:

? Bachelor degree or above
? Experience: 3+ years sourcing/merchandising experiences in buying or sourcing offices. Understanding of basic supply chain operations for retailer & supplier. Knowledge of basic business accounting.
? Language Skills: Full English language proficiency, including listening, reading, speaking and writing.
? Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
? Communication skills, including Negotiation skills and Supplier Mgmt skills
? Good team player.
