职位描述：
JOB PURPOSE: To comply with China import & export related government authorities’ regulation to foster a robust and trade compliance environment. To provide and manage the domestic and international transportation of direct materials and distribution of FG cargos for Wuxi two engine facilities, management of cost effective material/FG solutions. To work with GSND logistics to manage the transportation performance to meet the facility PQVC target.

JOB RELATED STATISTICS:
Freight Budget – 2.7 M
Logistics responsibility at 2 legal entities
Personnel: 9 mgmt &salaried, 4 on-site/Agency

JOB DUTIES:

1. Responsible for establishing, developing and motivating the team (both customs related &domestic team) and all personnel issues, efficiently manage the team resource and performance review to achieve the collective targets. –Time allocation 20%

2. Responsible for management of Wuxi two facilities customs compliance activities both internally from corporate required and externally from China government authorities (Customs/CIQ etc). –Time allocation 30%

3. Responsible for leading the Wuxi two facilities domestic & international transportation process design & implementation &improvement for both domestic and international transportation modes (sea/ground/air) for inbound materials &outbound FG engines. –Time allocation 20%

4. Responsible for managing the two facilities developing/implementing/improving bonded business process of two facilities to maximize the bonded profitability with customs compliance. -Time allocation 10%
 
5. Responsible for managing the two facilities domestic & international transportation freight cost to achieve the inbound/outbound target. –Time allocation 10%


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
? Completion of Caterpillar Leadership Training
? Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma Project Management principles
? CPS Functional Job Role Qualified
? APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification required
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures
? College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience, is required.
? Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
? Solid product knowledge
? Minimum of six to eight years of progressively responsible supply chain job experience
? Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
? Develop and deploy creative / original solutions to complex problems
? Solid logistics and manufacturing knowledge

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
? Experience in Supply Chain / Logistics or Transportation Management
? Extensive material distribution experience
? Knowledge of material handling equipment
? Working understanding of the various materials systems and how they interrelate
? Capable of working and communicating with a variety of company (all levels) and supplier personnel.
