Digital Production Director

This is where you work!
? The Digital Production team works interdisciplinary and consists of the departments Graphics, Frontend and Backend Development as well as 2nd-Level-Support.
? Our Digital Production teams are spread all over the world – as one global team we share working practices, tools and processes to operate effectively and innovatively.
? We deliver vehicle portals and dealer websites for premium brands of the automotive sector to the highest standard and within agreed timelines.
? Our aim is to constantly improve our products to offer our clients unique and innovative solutions.
? We are a dynamic and energetic team with a big vision and we enjoy working in an agile environment!

This is what you do!
? You lead the Chinese Digital Production team and build the interface to the Modix Headquarter and to colleagues from other subsidiaries.
? You oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure the delivery excellence within agreed deadlines and budgets.
? You are accountable for the execution, management and quality control of requirements, designs, production and delivery, ensuring great user experience and client satisfaction.
? You build strong client relationships and attend client meetings to represent our digital expertise, explain complex ideas clearly and manage expectations.
? You resolve any organizational or technical impediments that keep your team from focus and success.
? You interact and communicate with team members from multiple disciplines (designers, developers, account coordinators and clients) on a daily basis.

These are your abilities!
? Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar
? At least 5 years of experience in online and website production
? At least 2 years of experience in a team management role
? Knowledge and experience in agile project methodologies and content management systems
? Knowledge and experience in web design and development (Adobe CC, HTML/CSS, PHP)
? Solid understanding and application of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)
? Outstanding organizational talent with strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
? High degree of flexibility and excellent problem solving skills
? Strong and focused team player and a consensus builder
? Creativity and detail-orientation
? Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but not required
