We are now looking for Cross Functional Project Manager within the procurement team, who has a good understanding of Maersk Line’s strategy and business drivers. Experience in operations and procurement is a necessity when applying, and combined with awareness of cost drivers will be highly valued in the selection process. It is necessary to possess several years of experience within project management and procurement background. The individual we are looking for must have strong communication skills, interpersonal skills through which he or she will engage a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders locally, regionally, and globally across a wide range of departments. The person will be responsible for driving key procurement projects forward, and will be an integral part of the team and its ability to deliver on our ambitious goals.
What this position involves
? Driving procurement projects across a wide range of procurement and geographical areas
? Provides guidance and expertise for procurement team and acts as a stand-in for more complex cases.
? Drives procurement projects and global initiatives across wide range of departments and stakeholders
? Has accountability for problem solving, analytical work, and driving insights from analytical work related to procurement functions
? Initiates and drives complex projects to expand service area, implement new tools or cultivate new concepts
? Cooperating closely with colleagues and stakeholders in LOC, and within Maersk Line with Country clusters, Centre Terminals, Network Design, Trade & Marketing, and other LOCs
? Performs supplier market analysis and organise market intelligence
? Drives Regional Procurement Initiatives.
