1. Actively negotiate price to offset the material cost increase.

2. Double source major programs, to gain stable and most competitive pricing on the market.

3. Develop lower-cost product constructions, materials, and propose cheaper alternative to major existing programs.

4. Develop new product constructions and source new fabrics and accessories for the Market Weeks.

5. Develop sizable source out of existing supplier base.

6. Recommend new suppliers for PD director for review.

7. Clearly communicate and handle over the details of new acquired programs to MR.

8. Other duties as required.

  

Skills:

  

Excellent Oral and Written English;

  

Fluent Computer Operation Skills (especially in Microsoft)

  

  

Education and/or Experience:

  

Bachelor degree or equivalent

  

At least 5 year plus product development experience in basic bedding industry

  

Familiar with basic bedding products and fabric sources

  

Excellent negotiation and communication skill
