IKEA Purchase Operations Area Shenzhen office
Assignments:
Contribute in achieving efficient Supply Chain operations and lowest total Supply Chain cost by:
- To plan, schedule & monitor shipments;
- To ensure shipments are in accordance with IKEA’s routines & working methods;
- To optimise transport operation process & monitor the use of existing transport solutions;
- To work in close cooperation with others in the Supply Chain to solve operational issues & optimise transport solutions;
- To monitor and improve the operational performance of carriers and service providers as well as working pro-actively together with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years’ experience in the transport industry, know well the operational processes (sender, carrier, and receiver etc.);
- Bachelor degree in transport/logistics or related area;
- Self-driven and service oriented;
- Open minded and good communication skill;
- Good analytical skills and solve problems under stress;
- Fluent oral and written English.
