Responsibilities:
1, Pre-sale technical support
- Deliver technical advertise communication to potential customers, including attending exhibitions, Road shows and pre-communication meetings;
- During commercial quotation, CTS should assess product specification feasibility for potential projects with Sales and Production team;
- Fully understand products and quality requirements from customer, make sure Novelis manufacturing and products can meet customer needs;
- For new project, CTS need to engage in customer’s every project stages
- Customer PPAP&APQP PSW support, material performance confirm and stamping die final verification
2, After-sale technical support
- Quality issue handling.
- Confirm supply order content with Sales and manufacture team;
- Support customer trouble shooting. Supply required inspection and analysis to help customer improve or optimize their production process. Engage in issue inspection, test planning and conduct, analysis and discussion.
- Regular training and technical communication. To enhance customer respect and trust, CTS should schedule regular trainings and technical updates to customers.
3, Qualification support and others
- CTS should support plant manufacture and T&Q team to build up quality control system, by understanding customer normal and special requirement, and engage Novelis plant supply project every stage assessments:
- Delivery internal training to manufacture team and sales team.
4, Responsibilities as a Customer Representative (based on the assignment)
- Perform the duties stated in the ISO/TS16949 to meet the customer's requirements
- Specifiy the unique process or data based on the prediction of customer's existing or potential requirements
- Develop the company's quality goals and facilitate trainings to meet customer's expectations
- Participate the quality mmanagment system and take actions to correct the preventative measures against the complaints
- Take part in the product design/development process (restricted to process development only) to make sure the new design/products meet customer's needs.
Requirements:
- University or technical college education in the field of materials science / engineering with specialization in materials science, focus on "metallic materials"
- 3+ years experience in metal material processing industry or automotive industry
- Theoretical knowledge and deep understanding of technical and metallurgical relationships
- Familiar with quality system
- Good command of English
- Superior customer service skills; ability to work directly with customers to establish a long term relationship
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills; ability to communicate with all levels in the organization; Excellent English language skills
- Personal traits should include the ability to utilize human relation skills to motivate, train, understand, and develop others to attain the objectives
- Desire to take initiative and develop a pro-active relationship with employees through follow-up, understanding their needs and fostering a collaborative relationship
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload; must be able to manage multiple tasks at once without sacrificing attention to detail
- Must be flexible and able to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Solid computer skills with software applications proficiency, including strong Microsoft Office skills. Ability to learn new software programs quickly
- Must also possess leadership skills to direct, lead and develop other personnel to accomplish personal, plant and corporate objectives.
