职位描述：
The successful candidate will be part of the local R&D leadership, with the mission to discover both ingredients and technologies for the Flavor and Fragrance industry.
This position requires strong leadership, clear strategic thinking and excellent communication ability, as well as a proven understanding of biotechnological and agronomical applications of microbial and plant biology.

Job Responsibility
？ Contribute to develop and implement the company R&D strategy: devise and manage work programs, initiate and/or contribute to projects for the development of F&F ingredients (with reference to using microbial engineering, fermentation technology and classical agro-biotechnology)
？ Initiate and lead projects towards the development of technologies for microbial and odor control (with reference to hygiene, body odor etc.)
？ Identify and assess cutting-edge technologies and partnership opportunities, both with private and academic players
？ Develop and manage a technically diverse team encompassing the areas of microbiology, biochemistry and plant biology. Provide scientific guidance and coaching support for talent development and retention
？ Ensure efficient communication with other R&D teams and business functions, both locally and globally
Profile
？ PhD degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology, plant biology/agronomy
？ Five to ten years of management experience in R&D, preferably in F&F, Fine Chemicals, Biotech or Pharma industries
？ A leader with excellent communication, influencing and networking ability
？ Clear and strategic vision of how to create business value from science (with a proven track-record)
？ Able to operate in a global context; sensitive to local environment
？ Fluent in English; knowledge or willingness to learn Chinese a plus
