Job Title : Program Manager
Department : Sales & Marketing
Reports To : Sr. Program Manager / Director, Sales & Marketing
Location : Shanghai
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- With automotive-related background at either an OEM, Tier I or II company, being desired.
- Commercial responsibility for a sold product.
- Experience in managing Engineering Changes and negotiating price adjustment.
- Outgoing personality, be able to handle commercial pressure from customer level.
- Prepare to attend and lead involvement in customer program planning meetings.
- Very analytical, with attention focus to detail. Must be well-organized and be able to put in place solid follow-up system, status reports and flow charts re programs under review.
- Brief Company Management on a routine basis, so as to provide update on program(s) status and provide a level of comfort that he / she has full control.
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCES
- University Graduate, with some Engineering background. Additional studies would be useful and encouraged.
- At least 4 years program / project management experience in automotive industry, tier 1 or 2 Euro-US company would be preferable.
- Ability to compose correspondence and other required documentation.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task.
- Detailed-orientated and well organized.
- Excellent spelling, grammar and proof-reading skills.
- Strong computer and system skills.
- Fluent in Chinese and ability to converse / read / write English.
- JD Edwards software knowledge would be useful.
- Excellent phone etiquette and personal manner to build strong relationships.
- Be a self-starter and take ownership at every opportunity.
