General Description:

The job holder is supporting the Regulatory Affairs Asia Pacific to assure that SI Group has the appropriate understanding of and can enable the business to comply with the applicable national and international product chemical control requirements. Participate with and support Global Regulatory Team to develop and implement processes and systems to effectively meet this goal.
1)Product Regulatory Compliance
？ Assess SI Group products in relation to adherence to national (Korea, Japan) and regional Asia Pacific regulations on product registration, classification & labelling, and hazard communication requirements, as well as other relevant regulatory requirements
？ Support SDS authoring and products chemical hazards communication to stakeholders to assure safe use of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods
？ Follow emerging legislation and regulatory requirements and advise business on impact (including resulting business opportunities)
？ Organize, file and maintain appropriate product regulatory compliance documentation (including reports, registrations, government product regulatory correspondence and communications)
？ Respond or coordinate customer requests, questionnaires, declarations etc. to meet business needs
？ Train internal stakeholders on relevant product regulatory compliance requirements
？ Represent Regulatory Affairs in CoC/R&D projects
？ Apply SI Group Guiding Principles and support Management System
2)Product Support / Defense
？ Plan and execute registration projects in accordance to the business needs
？ Anticipate and advise SI Group business segments on product safety / regulatory risk factors with respect to existing commercial products and the introduction of new products to prevent product de-selection
？ Monitor new and proposed regulations and advise business and Global Regulatory Team of potential impacts
？ Collaborate and maintain relationships with external consultants on the above aspects
3)Advocacy
？ Represent SI Group externally with stakeholders with industrial consortia and with regulatory competent authorities
Requirements:
？ MS or BS plus equivalent experience in a chemistry, engineering or related field
？ 3 years’ experience in relevant Korea Japan and Asia Pacific chemical control legislation (relating to registration, GHS, Transport Regulation, end use compliance etc.)
？ SDS authoring experience in chemical industry is a plus
？ Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
？ Fluent in English
？ Good command of Japanse will be a plus 举报 分享
