Position Description
 TV products expert is a must for this position!

? Manage to ensure sourcing and execution operate smoothly. 
? Manage the sourcing of product throughout the country. 
? Know and understand suppliers/factories and their capabilities, capacity and performance.
? Negotiate price based on an in-depth understanding of product and components. 
? Improve operating efficiency through better business planning and EDLC 
? Communicate with US Customer Facing team, Buyers to identify sourcing opportunity. 
? Communicate with US Customer Facing team in aligning sourcing strategy, buy trip arrangement and manage critical issues during order execution process. 
? Conduct supplier assessment and formulate supplier matrix for the category. 
? Source new supplier, measure supplier performance, capability and capacity in order to make appropriate sourcing decisions. Keep information up to date. Manage supplier performance. 
? Maintain strong relationship with key suppliers 
? Understand trade and political issues of the country and incorporate into sourcing proposal. 
? Understand buying objectives, product specs(wherever applies) and communicate with the suppliers 
? Work with the Merchandise Quality Engineer and Responsible Sourcing team to ensure placements are made with right factories. Identify testing and production issues upfront and involve Quality Assurance teams to resolve. 
? Effectively negotiate product and price, and develop alternatives to achieve objectives. 
? Identify and resolve issues with suppliers for pricing, shipping, services, etc. 
? Resolve issues with Merchandise Quality Engineer such as problems with product specifications, purchase orders, safety failures, and supplier execution. 
? Share component costing information to Product Development to ensure product is developed and produced in an affordable and safe manner. 
? Present solutions that mitigate risk while maintaining profitability. 
? Collaborate cross functionally with the various business partners and suppliers to understand the various business needs and priorities and develop optimal solutions to support. 
? Prepare Monthly Reports to keep sr. managers and directors well informed of status of all upcoming programs. ? Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed 
? Collaborate with Replenishment team to align order strategy. 
? Leverage suppliers with different retail markets 
? People development Minimum

Qualifications;
? Regional or global experience in sourcing the product category (TV) is required. 
? Able to manage within a global sourcing organization and build ownership and teamwork. 
? STRONG Technical knowledge is required. Understanding of specification, components, component suppliers and construction. Good production knowledge. 
? Excellent problem solving skills. Creatively able to develop alternative solutions to achieve product and business objectives. 
? In-depth knowledge of relevant suppliers and factories. Able to understand and differentiate between various manufacturers. 
? Detailed knowledge and use of component costing. 
? Able to take charge of time and action plans globally across offices. 
? Able to manage large amounts of data. Establishes efficient processes in order to make sound decisions. 
? Able to work under pressure. Takes ownership. Manages multiple projects well. Able to prioritize. Manages change well. 
? Team player who always works respectfully with associates and suppliers from different cultures.
