The Trade Marketing and Communication Manager’s responsibility is to fulfill 5 missions:
1. Support APAC countries in developing and executing trade marketing activities
a. Coordinate execution of global campaigns for APAC countries
b. Support business development with key APAC suppliers
c. Drive agreed upon trade marketing programs with countries
2. Develop a comprehensive APAC training program for the main product categories (building installation, lighting, cable, energy solutions)
a. In cooperation with country product specialists, country- and HQ HR teams and strategic suppliers
b. Define curriculum and coordinate content; incorporating or re-using existing product training content from other Rexel countries
c. Manage country roll-out with local HR teams and track KPIs related to product training
3. Manage, plan and execute APAC internal and external communication
a. Issue 3-4 editions of the APAC newsletter per year, to all APAC employees; coordinate and produce content; serve as lead editor; manage and track distribution
b. Maintain APAC company presentation up to date; align with corporate presentation
c. Provide communication support to less mature countries in developing websites and other communication materials
4. Implement APAC branding roadmap with countries
a. Monitor and advise on alignment with group graphic charter and branding guidelines; follow-up on country non-compliance
b. Evaluate local companies’ local graphic charters against the group branding guidelines
c. Monitor country websites; initiate revision for group components (key figures, strategy)
d. Track trademark registration and -expansion within APAC; manage process with APAC legal counsel
5. Support digital growth in APAC Zone
a. Support APAC Marketing & Pricing Director in large/mature country onboarding projects to the global solutions; work with countries on feature activation
b. Monitor smaller countries’ solutions, support where needed
c. Challenge and support countries on digital adoption of global/APAC digital solutions
