Qualifications / Skills:

Formal Qualification:

• Required: outstanding portfolio of management system related qualifications, including auditor qualifications in relevant management systems, qualifications of ISO 9001, TS-16949, etc.
• Highly Desirable: university degree and above, or other tertiary qualification
• Highly Desirable: professional registration as management system practitioner in a senior professional grade (e.g. Lead Auditor) (e.g. TUV, BV, SGS); understand EFQM model is a great plus

Experience:

• Desirable: qualification and/or experience in project management
• Desirable: sound exposure to engineering field, with engineering qualification highly desirable.
  Demonstrated track record of breaking new ground in the management system industry
• 10+ years' experience in the relevant field of expertise, preferably gained across a spectrum of industries and roles (e.g. QA/SHEQ Manager, Certification Auditor or similar)
• Proven track record to hands on and on-time delivery

Key responsibilities:

• Accountable for developing tailored QA solutions for large projects particularly for global and key clients
• Accountable for ensuring QA requirements stipulated by clients are identified and fulfilled
• Responsible to research developments in management system industry to ensure these are assessed and where required adopted
• Responsible to benchmark co against other key players in the consulting engineering industry and develop the new business engagement model for the firm
• Responsible to provide information and feedback to QM Leadership on any management system related issue
• Developing the QM Service Consultant role within the firm as this is a fairly new portfolio

Further responsibilities include:

• Input in certification and accreditation issues
• Conducting internal audits at various client sites if necessary (the position requires travel)
• Compilation of management review reports
• Accompanying external certification auditors as and when required
• Resolution of internal and external non-conformances

Special Requirements:

• Willingness to travel substantially and "travel hardy" attitude
• High level of attention to detail
• Willingness to learn about various engineering disciplines from the team

Computer Competency Requirements:

• MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Database knowledge an advantage (e.g. SQL)

Language:

• Chinese, as well as English
• Additional language skills advantageous
