Position Overview
Support PMI in presenting, promoting and selling products by developing insert graphic, packaging and product renderings.

Essential Functions
- Support Product Manager (ASIA) on re-design projects based on Starbucks client needs on existing products to extend product life cycle and merchandise programs pitching, including not limited to - supplying creative ideas , artwork development for promotions including Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, Holiday 5 key seasons.
- Participate in the whole product development process and contribute creative ideas during brainstorming meetings down the road to developing style guide, color pallet, specific design proposal, color-ups, design revisions based on client feedback, sample release till approval.
- Constantly collect graphic trend information (within Asia) and new color ideas through market walk and web search, and share seasonal knowledge within team.
- Highly flexible and good understanding of commercial operation cycle. Detailed oriented, good sense of meeting deadlines and able to manage multi-tasks.
- Adhere to PMI policies and support Management decisions and goals in positive, professional manner.

Proficiencies
- Strong hand drawing dsign skills, professional graphic desigh related skills.
- Understanding of global graphics and design trends, particularly in Asia with its culture uniqueness, fluent English is prefered.
- Solid word processing and computer database skills with knowledge of Adobe Photo Shop/Illustrator, Quark Xpress and Macromedia Freehand.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead and work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to balance a complex workload and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to study and apply new information.
- Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
- Exhibit a professional, business like appearance and demeanor.
- Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and over the phone.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent related experience.
- Overseas design studying or working background is MUST.
- 5+ years experience in relevant area.
