I. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer system, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implement solutions.
1. End users support (50%)
a. Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues relative to computer systems, software, and hardware.
b. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
c. Training the computer users.
d. Writing manuals.
2. Backups and Recover (10%)
a. Responsible for all backups for the relative data and systems.
b. Perform recovery function as requested.
c. Maintain records in accordance to ISO documents.
3. Vendor Liaison (5%)
a. Correspond with vendor on purchase of computer hardware, software, and peripherals,
b. Be responsible for the purchase of computer, software, and peripherals.
4. System maintenance (30 %)
a. Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
b. Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and other systems.
c. Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
5. Support IT supervisor and manager (5%)
a. Finish the work as supervisor and manager arranged.
b. IT inventory management.
c. Execute and comply with EICC policy positively, report to higher level when there is violation to EICC policy
