职位描述：

Job Title : Quality Engineer

Location : Shanghai, China

Reporting to : QA Manager

Main Purposes of the Job

1. To provide technical support to ensure Products within the assigned product categories comply with Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements and US/European legislation.

2. To arrange/review 3rd party testing reports and take proper follow-up actions for the best interest of the business.
3. To provide technical support in terms of product development, product quality, product testing / benchmarking.
4. To sign off Silver and Gold samples to a pre-defined specification in factories where appropriate.
5. To review appropriate standards (Prop 65 etc.) and to verify factories’ 3rd party test reports.
6.To integrate within the structure and have excellent communication skills. In particular, a good working relationship with the Sourcing and Supplier Chain team.
7. To identify and propose evolutionary enhancements to QA operating and management systems and implementation of such improvements to ensure the smooth transition of agreed changes.
8. To have the initiative to identify issues and obstacles, collect information, find opportunities then develop and implement effective solutions.

9. Other task assigned by QA manager.

Person Specification / Requirements

1. Professional/Technical Qualification or degree, in an appropriate field from a reputable University.
2. Fluent Mandarin and English communication
3. Able to demonstrate in-depth detailed knowledge of (or capability of) US & European product safety & technical standards and associated compliance certification.
4. Able to demonstrate an in depth working knowledge of QA practices and methodology.
5. Practical experience of Process Audit and Process Engineering.
6. Working experience within a technical role appropriate to the advertised role.
7. Resilience in following through business critical issues.
8. Persuasive approach to problem solving at all levels.

9. Good communication skills, both written and verbal in Chinese and English.
10. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals
11.Well organized with the ability to plan workload to achieve deadlines.
12. Good numeracy skills and conversant in Word and Excel.

13. Able to travel if necessary.
