职位描述：

Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide project management/coordination for filtration equipment and related product orders through the phases of engineering and sketch preparation, formal drawing preparation, customer interface and drawing approval, shop release of fabrication drawings, coordination with the shop during fabrication and finalization of document requirements. In addition, provide customer specification review for quotation preparation in support of the company sales effort.

Responsibility:
1. Perform order and specification review for vessels, prepare sketches, ASME design calculations, Specification Data Sheet, and submit project folder to drafting for drawing preparation. Insure that all applicable customer requirements are defined and communicated in the Specification Data Sheet and Drawings to include such things as special welding and inspection requirements, materials, or special fabrication procedures. Perform these activities in timely manner to meet production schedule requirements. Support estimating department when required with specification review.
2. Upon starting a vessel or closure project, become thoroughly familiar with the cost estimate which will constitute the project budget. Do not exceed costs on the project budget without management approval. Where possible, reduce costs below the estimate consistent with good engineering or fabrication practices and time constraints.
3. Submit approval drawings and documents to customer on time. Incorporate customer comments received into drawings. Communicate with customer through faxes or on telephone to insure customer requirements are fully defined.
4. Release complete drawing package to shop on time. Respond quickly to any questions the shop may have or to resolve problems.
5. Maintain job/order re-production planning system and project schedule to insure that drawings are submitted to the customer on time and that drawings are released to the shop on time. If delays to the planned schedule occur, notify production schedulers and order entry so that fabrication and shop hours can be adjusted in a timely manner.
6. Hold meetings when necessary on critical jobs with representatives from production, quality assurance and purchasing. Meet with customer representatives or inspectors when necessary to insure smooth job blow and positive customer relations.
7. Prepare a partial bill of materials for long delivery items and have bill input to system.
8. Finalize customer documentation requirements at the end of the job within 30 days of product shipment.
9. Follow the applicable ISO work instructions when accomplishing the above tasks.
10. 50% travel required.

Qualifications:
Education and Training:
Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Degree/Diploma or with minimum 3 years of Project Management/Project Coordination experience.

Experience:
Four years experience in shop fabrication, drafting, quality control or fabrication management.
Skill:
Knowledge of the design and fabrication of pressure vessels. Ability to use computer spreadsheets for calculations and word processing software.

Special Knowledge
ASME Section VIII. Division 1 Code, ASME B31.3. Familiar with welding procedures and materials and other related industry codes and standards.
