Primary Job Function:

The Quality Manager is responsible for the establishment and day to day execution of a world class quality control and assurance system and maintain an TS16949 Certification based on the competitive demands of a Global Tier 1 automotive supplier.


Specific Job Responsibilities:

? Build and lead a team of engineers / technicians to further strengthen our leading position in the automotive industry
? Communicate with Burgess-Norton’s global business units and global customers to refine and address issues, propose solutions, and improve overall operational effectiveness
? Lead internal and external corrective actions following customer requirements and using tools such as 8D and 5Why
? Plan, organize, and execute quality improvements
? Manage all aspects of quality including incoming materials, cold forming, machining, heat treating, precision grinding, and packaging
? Evaluate and improve the supply base
? Track and report all quality statistics and analyze to identify improvement opportunities
? Implement and maintain an SPC system
? Manage quality and system control documents for internal/external/customer audits
? Manage all facets of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System including Internal Audits, Corrective Actions and maintenance of all associated records, procedures and work instructions.
? Collaborate with the AMSTED EHS Specialist to ensure overall environmental compliance
? Conduct Management Review of the Quality and Environmental Systems

Job Qualification Profile:

? Bachelors of Science in related field or equivalent.
? 3-5 years direct management and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, automotive part supplier experience a plus
? Thorough understanding of TS16949
? Demonstrated success in driving a Zero Defects culture
? Thorough knowledge of SPC
? Thorough knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
? Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting
? Bilingual (English/Mandarin)
? Proficient computer skills (MS Office and database tools such as minitab) 举报 分享
