Senior Software Engineer – SonicWall, Shanghai
 
SonicWall is looking for a Senior Software Engineer excited to work in the Secure Mobile Access engineering team. The Senior Software Engineer role provides challenging opportunities and ample room for critical thinking. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining SonicWall’s award winning Secure Mobile Access products.

The position will be based in Shanghai.

Role Responsibilities:

? Design and develop new firmware features with limited supervision
? Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, agile team e***ironment
? Facilitate problem diagnosis and prompt resolution for issues reported by customers
? Maintain existing firmware features by implementing enhancements and fixing bugs
? Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, test case reviews, and process enhancements
? Write functional and design specifications, and work with technical publications team for documentation needs
 
Requirements:

? Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field with 5+ years of software development experience or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field with 7+ years of software development experience
? Strong C/C++/JAVA programming skills with 5+ years of experience
? Proficient in Python Script Programming
? Good understanding on Database/SQL
? Experience in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JQuery programming
? Familiar with concepts of MVC and RESTful
? Familiar with Java Web frameworks, such as Struts / Spring
? Strong experience with UNIX or Linux operating systems
? Knowledge of network, network security
? Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues.
? Good communication skills in English

3. 有HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JQuery开发经验。
4. 熟悉Java Web开发框架，Struts / Spring。
5. 熟悉python 脚本编程
6. 了解MVC和RESTful
7. 了解数据库相关知识。
8. 有Linux平台开发经验。
9. 熟悉网络和网络安全。
10. 快速定位和处理问题的能力。
